My Music

Hello! My name is Madisyn Alberry, and I am a singer-songwriter based in the Appalachian Mountains.

I describe my sound as "Soul Folk"—bringing heartfelt and intentional lyrics to a folk sound. My music is inspired by the beautiful wild experience of being human, my journey of healing, and the poetry the natural world brings me.

When I sit down to write, I write from my own experiences and what feels alive and true to me in the moment. Through my music I hope to create a something for others to remember that none of us are alone in depths of what the human experience can bring.

Poetry is the at the heart of my songwriting. Each song begins with something that is deeply on my heart. Most times it not something I think about, but more so something that comes to me and feels right. Songwriting helps me make sense of the complexity of feeling and transform it into something I can share.
